Sohini is currently pursuing an MArch degree at Harvard University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College. She is from Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and seeks to focus on sustainability in design and the built environment.

Do you have a favorite: musician, artist, or sports figure/team? I really enjoy listening to Laufey (She’s what I like to call Jazz pop genre)
What do you love about design? I love that design allows me to mix creativity with functionality. It allows endless opportunities for innovation with the hope of benefiting people and the planet.
