Architectural Designer

We are seeking a multi-talented designer to work on a range of projects, small to large. The ideal candidate has a passion for design and a love of the craft. This position requires strong spatial, and representational skills as well as a deep commitment to design excellence. The candidate will work directly with the firm founder, project managers, and colleagues. This position offers broad exposure over time to the workings of a studio-based environment, including exposure to clients, consultants, and contractors, providing an ideal learning environment.

The candidates should be facile in using REVIT, AutoCAD, as well as Sketch-Up, and/or Rhino. The ability to model space and form quickly and accurately is essential.

Project types range from finely detailed residential and commercial projects to larger-scale urban design projects. Being able to move between a range of project types and scales is key.

And finally, a demonstrated interest and technical awareness of sustainable design principles and technologies are welcomed, especially as PLA is launching its new sustainable design group (PLASES) – see: www.lukez-plases.com
