Sena Gokkus LEED GA
Designer
Sena was born and raised in Turkey. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Master of Architecture degree focusing on sustainability, where she participated and got an award in the DoE Solar Decathlon 2020 competition. She obtained her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bilkent University, Turkey. Her professional background involves adaptive reuse and renovation projects.

Fun Facts/Hobbies: I enjoy cooking and baking for family and friends. I also enjoy reading in my spare time. I try to walk around Boston to explore new places as much as I can.
Do you have a favorite: musician, artist, or sports figure/team? I don’t have a strong preference in terms of genre, but classic rock is probably my favorite. I listen to European artists a lot. I would go with either Gustav Klimt or Salvador Dali as my favorite artist.
What do you love about design? I love providing comfortable spaces for people while keeping environmental protection in mind.
Something people don’t know about you: I was a professional tennis player between the ages of 8 and 18.
