Fun Facts/Hobbies: Ice hockey, photography, sudoku, traveling – I plan to visit the Maldives one day to see the bioluminescent bay.
Do you have a favorite: musician, artist, or sports figure/team? The Vaccines are a band from the UK, and I discovered them while watching a TV show. Their songs are so fun, and I loved the lyrics. They came to the US for part of their tour (which is rare), and I drove to Philadelphia to see them.
What do you love about design? You get to be at the center of the entire creative process. You get to see the hours of hard work and brainstorming pay off. I love being a part of the process as a designer; I also love that you can keep learning throughout the design process, whether from Google, by accident, or with peers. You always have the opportunity to learn more through design.
Something people don’t know about you: When I was 13, I won a state-wide competition and got a piece of my artwork featured on Hannaford’s grocery bags along with four other winners from the rest of New England.
