Angel Escobar-Rodas

Design Intern


Angel is a designer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a mechanic on the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Angel graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University School of Architecture. He is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Angel looks at architecture as a driver of experiences expressed through ground, geometries, textures, and light.

Fun Facts/Hobbies: I enjoy discovering new music, learning history, and attempting to cook some of my mom’s dishes.

Do you have a favorite: musician, artist, or sports figure/team? My current favorite band to listen to is Cultura Profetica. Currently my favorite artist is Bad Bunny. My favorite sports team is Real Madrid.

What do you love about design? Design has the potential to engage with any topic and allows designers to find creative responses to complex questions.

Something people do not know about you: I enjoy dancing.
